Terms of Use

The Terms of Use that ship in Minute Studio 1.0.0, word for word. You agree to them when you first open the app.

1. License

Minute Studio is published by Infinite Artifacts LLC, and is licensed — not sold — to you for personal and business use on up to two devices you own or control. You can move your license to a different device from within the app. A device it is moved from is no longer licensed; it stops working within 60 days, and the license can be moved again once it has. Every license, perpetual included, is confirmed with Minute Studio's licensing server at least once every 60 days, which needs an internet connection; if it cannot be confirmed, capture pauses until it can. You may not redistribute or resell the app. A monthly or yearly license lasts for the period you paid for and ends if it is not renewed; a perpetual license does not expire.

2. Updates and your perpetual license

A perpetual license includes twelve months of updates from the date of purchase, extended by twelve months each time you buy an update renewal. Your right to run Minute Studio is perpetual and is not affected by that date: when your update window ends, the version you own keeps working exactly as it did, with every feature intact and no reduction in function, for as long as you want to run it. Only versions released after your update window ends require a renewal, and every earlier release stays available to download. Subscriptions include updates for as long as they are active.

3. Trial, subscriptions, and refunds

Minute Studio includes a 14-day trial with every feature unlocked. The trial asks for no payment details and never turns into a paid plan on its own, so you can decide whether Minute Studio suits you before you pay. There is one trial per device. It starts when Minute Studio first reaches its licensing server, which needs an internet connection once.

A monthly or yearly subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time, using the subscription link in your purchase receipt. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: your license stays active until then, and you will not be charged again.

Payments are non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used billing periods or for a perpetual license. Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have under the law that cannot be waived; to exercise such a right, contact Infinite Artifacts LLC at support@minutestudio.app.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made online. Minute Studio is digital content, supplied as soon as your purchase is complete. When you buy, you are asked to agree expressly to that immediate supply and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and your purchase confirmation records that agreement. If you did not give it, you may withdraw within 14 days of your purchase by contacting Infinite Artifacts LLC at support@minutestudio.app.

4. On-device processing

Audio capture, transcription, briefings, and translation run entirely on your device. Your recordings and transcripts are stored locally and are not sent to Infinite Artifacts LLC or any third party. If your license lapses, capture is paused, but your recordings, transcripts, briefings, and translations remain fully accessible and exportable.

Minute Studio can capture meeting audio without joining the call as a visible participant, so others may not know a recording is being made. You are responsible for obtaining any consent the law requires before you record. Consent rules vary by jurisdiction — some allow one-party consent, while others (several U.S. states, and privacy regimes such as the EU's GDPR) require all participants to consent. Keeping your data on-device does not make the act of recording lawful.

6. No warranty; assistive output

Minute Studio is provided by Infinite Artifacts LLC “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Transcripts, briefings, and translations are assistive drafts that may contain errors; review them before relying on them. They are not legal, medical, or professional advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Infinite Artifacts LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including how you record or use recorded content.

8. Referral program

If you hold a license, Minute Studio can give you a referral code. A friend who uses it gets 20% off their first purchase of any plan. Fourteen days after that purchase, if it has not been refunded or charged back, you receive time on your own plan: a monthly subscription's next payment moves 30 days later, a yearly subscription's 60 days later, and a perpetual license's update window is extended by 90 days. Each friend counts once, for their first purchase only, and a purchase under your own customer account does not count. Tell your friend that you receive something when they buy. A reward waits while your subscription has a payment overdue or a cancellation scheduled, and while you hold no license; it is given once that is resolved. Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged. Infinite Artifacts LLC may change or end the program at any time; rewards already given stay.
